Information Collection and Use
FitCycles does not send personal data to the developer or to developer-controlled servers. Timer routines, app settings, and completed workout history are stored locally on your device using SwiftData and are not synced through iCloud.
With your permission, FitCycles can access Apple Health. The dashboard reads workouts, active energy, exercise time, and heart rate on demand. This Health data is not copied into the app's SwiftData store. FitCycles can also write completed workouts to Apple Health.
The Apple Watch app can run the timer, start a workout, and write completed workouts directly to Apple Health. Timer state may be transferred directly between your paired Apple Watch and iPhone using Watch Connectivity. This information is transferred only between your paired devices and is not sent to the developer or to developer-controlled servers.
Live Activities are updated locally by the app and do not use remote push notifications or a developer-operated backend.
Apple Services and Third-Party Code
FitCycles uses Apple system frameworks, including HealthKit, Watch Connectivity, ActivityKit, SwiftData, and related iOS and watchOS services, to provide its features.
FitCycles does not include third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting, or data-collection SDKs. Information handled by Apple services is subject to Apple's privacy policies and the privacy settings associated with your Apple ID and devices.
Your Choices
Apple Health access is optional and controlled through Apple's permission system. You can grant or revoke access separately for each Health data type through the Health app or iOS Settings. Features that depend on Apple Health may be unavailable when the corresponding permission is disabled.
Data Retention and Deletion
FitCycles stores timer routines, app settings, and completed workout history locally on your device.
You can delete routines and completed workout history within FitCycles. Uninstalling FitCycles removes all data stored locally by the app on that device.
Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete workouts that FitCycles previously saved to Apple Health. You can view or delete those workouts through the Apple Health app. FitCycles does not retain personal data on developer-controlled servers.
Children
FitCycles does not knowingly solicit personal information from or market to children under the age of 13. FitCycles does not send personal data to the developer or to developer-controlled servers.

Security
Locally stored FitCycles data is protected by the security mechanisms provided by iOS and your device. Apple Health data is protected through Apple Health permissions and Apple's platform security. FitCycles does not transmit this local or Health data to the developer.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to FitCycles or its data-handling practices. Changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
