Information Collection and Use
AlwaysOn Desk Clock is designed with privacy in mind. The developer does not collect, receive, sell, or use your personal data for advertising or analytics.
The app may access information on your device only to provide features you choose to use:
- Calendar access, if granted, is used to read upcoming events from your device calendars and display them on your desk display.
- Location access, if granted, is used to obtain your device-provided location for local weather conditions and forecast information.
- App settings, such as display hours and visual preferences, are stored locally on your device.
- Widget and layout preferences are stored locally on your device.
Calendar events, location information, app settings, widget layouts, and usage activity are not sent to the developer. The developer does not operate external servers or maintain a remote user database for the app.
Calendar
If you grant Calendar access, AlwaysOn Desk Clock reads upcoming calendar events so they can be displayed in the app. Calendar event information is used temporarily while the app is running and is not persistently stored by the app.
The app does not modify or create calendar events.
Weather and Location
AlwaysOn Desk Clock uses Apple WeatherKit to provide weather information. If you grant Location access, the app uses your device-provided location to request local weather information from Apple WeatherKit.
Location information and weather results are used temporarily while the app is running and are not persistently stored by the app. Weather data is provided by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy practices.
Third-Party Services
The app does not use third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking services.
Data Retention and Deletion
AlwaysOn Desk Clock does not store user data on developer-controlled servers.
Calendar event information, location information, and weather results are used temporarily while the app is running and are not persistently stored by the app.
App settings and widget layout preferences are stored locally on your device. They remain on your device until you change or reset them, delete the app, or clear related device data.
Your Choices
You can manage Calendar and Location permissions in the iOS Settings app at any time. Some app features may not work if the related permission is disabled.
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
Children
AlwaysOn Desk Clock does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not include accounts, messaging, advertising, or tracking.
Security
The app does not operate developer-controlled servers or maintain a remote user database. Locally stored app settings and widget layout preferences are protected by the security mechanisms provided by iOS and your device.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
