Information Collection and Use
Heart Baseline does not send personal data to the developer or to developer-controlled servers. The app does not require an account.
Heart Baseline stores app settings and completed check history locally on your iPhone. A completed check can include its date and time, selected duration, heart-rate samples, average heart rate, minimum and maximum heart rate, and sample count. This locally stored history is not synced through iCloud by Heart Baseline.
The Apple Watch app may temporarily store a completed check locally until it is delivered to the paired iPhone. Delivered check data is removed from that temporary Watch outbox.
Apple Health
With your permission, Heart Baseline reads heart-rate data from Apple Health to display daily context and to restore detailed readings associated with a completed check. The Apple Watch app uses a HealthKit workout session to collect heart-rate readings during an intentional check.
Heart Baseline does not save a completed check as an Apple Health workout. The iPhone app does not add or change Health data.
Apple Health access is controlled through Apple's permission system. Heart Baseline requests only the Health access needed for its heart-rate check features. Information managed by Apple Health is subject to Apple's privacy practices and your device settings.
Apple Watch and Paired-Device Communication
Heart Baseline uses Apple's Watch Connectivity framework to send check commands and status updates between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch and to deliver completed check data to your iPhone. This transfer occurs through Apple's paired-device services. The developer does not receive or store this information.
Analytics, Advertising, and Third Parties
Heart Baseline does not include third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting, or data-collection SDKs. Health data and check history are not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or data mining.
Your Choices
You can grant or revoke Apple Health access through the Health app or iOS Settings. Features that depend on heart-rate access may be unavailable when permission is disabled.
You can delete individual completed checks within Heart Baseline. Deleting a check removes the app's local record. It does not delete underlying heart-rate data managed by Apple Health.
Data Retention and Deletion
Heart Baseline keeps completed check history locally until you delete individual checks or uninstall the app. Uninstalling Heart Baseline removes data stored locally by the app on that device. It does not automatically delete data managed separately by Apple Health.
Heart Baseline does not retain personal data on developer-controlled servers.
Children
Heart Baseline does not knowingly solicit personal information from or market to children under the age of 13. The app does not send personal data to the developer or to developer-controlled servers.

Security
Locally stored Heart Baseline data is protected by the security mechanisms provided by iOS, watchOS, and your devices. Apple Health data is protected through Apple Health permissions and Apple's platform security.
